Nose pins come in various designs from solitaire diamonds sparkling in the nose to gold designs in floral and other pretty shapes, encrusted with precious pearls and gemstones. Nose pins made of gold and heavily ornamented are usually worn at weddings and because of their weight they are supported by fine chains attached to the hair. These nose ornaments are also made from other metals but one has to be careful what one wears, as they can cause allergic reactions.
